Returns & Exchanges

General Policy

Olena Baca’s Art gladly accepts returns and exchanges, as long as you make us aware of the issue within 7 days of the order’s delivery and ship the item back within 14 days of the order’s delivery.

To start the return/ exchange process, please use our contact form to let us know what prompted the return/ exchange (example reasons: material/ color not as expected, wrong item sent, damaged in shipment, etc.). You will receive an email within 2 business days with further instructions which will depend on your individual situation (example instructions: please ship back to this address, please send photos/ describe the damage, please choose a replacement from this list, etc.).

Exchanges: Your replacement will be shipped out on the next shipping day (as outlined in the Shipping Practices) after your order is received back at O. B. A.

Returns: When your return is received, you will be refunded to your original payment method (if you used a single-use voucher/ store credit, you will instead be issued a new, valid voucher for the same amount as the order). The refund will be initiated within 1 business day of receipt of your return being received – the amount of time before the refund is fully processed depends on the issuing bank/ financial entity processing the return (typically it’ll be processed within 1-5 business days).

Exceptions and Exclusions to General Policy

If the order is not shipped back in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value and exchange options/ refund amount will be adjusted accordingly.

While some customized orders (i.e. landscapes and seascapes) can be exchanged and returned as outlined in this policy, personalized orders containing identifying information/ highly specific information (including names, initials, birthdates, locations, etc.) and custom pet, boat, house portraits among others are not covered due to their personalized nature UNLESS they arrive damaged or defective.

Who is Responsible for Shipping Costs

If the return/ exchange is due to a fault of O. B. A. (i.e. wrong item sent) or the postal service (i.e. item damaged during shipment), then O. B. A. will cover the cost of return shipping by providing the buyer with a printable shipping label with tracking.

In all other cases, the buyer is responsible for covering the cost of a shipping method of their choice as long as it comes with tracking.
